Weave Isaac 1
The first mobile home robot from Weave Robotics — a telescoping torso of 91–175 cm on a wheeled base, two arms with grippers, 8 hours of runtime and a USD 7,999 pre-order price. Labelled "W1" in the overview photo.
What it would mean for your event
Why write about it on an events website
Isaac 1 is the cheapest mobile home robot with manipulation on pre-order — clients ask what an USD 8,000 robot can do. The answer: fold laundry and make beds, not entertain a thousand guests.
Event robot vs. home robot
At events you need walking among people, a voice, gestures and a show — we do that with the G1 and H2; Isaac 1 is built for repetitive work without an audience.
For hotels and accommodation
We watch when it reaches Europe and will advise on a housekeeping robot once the offer is real.

- Remote Op: when the AI hesitates, a remote Weave specialist steps in for 5–10 seconds through the head and wrist cameras
- Physical camera shutters and a privacy screen on the charging dock — it is visible when the robot is working and when not
- Swappable fabric shells as passive safety
- The predecessor Isaac 0 (stationary laundry folder) has 2,000+ hours in the field and folds over 450 kg of laundry a week
Where it is deployed
Households
Laundry and daily tidying of bedrooms and children's rooms — two ready-made task flows that can be scheduled in the app.
Small businesses
Isaac 0 is already used by businesses in California for laundry folding; Isaac 1 adds movement around the space.
Data collection and learning
Operator interventions feed weekly model updates — the robot improves through use.

Weave Isaac 1: ROBOTio does not currently hire out or sell this model. Weave sells only in California for now (pre-orders, deliveries in autumn 2026). Looking for a robot for a corporate event? See the Unitree G1 and H2 from our event fleet — we help you choose the model and plan its role in the programme.
- Hire for events: no
- Sale / import: no — we follow its availability in Europe
- Alternative for events: Unitree G1 (130 cm) or H2 (180 cm) from our fleet
Manufacturer: Weave Robotics
Weave Robotics is based in San Francisco, founded in summer 2024 (Y Combinator S24) by former Apple engineers Evan Wineland and Kaan Dogrusoz. The team has about 26 people; disclosed funding is small (YC, Pioneer Fund, Adjacent, Origins Fund) and the real amount has not been announced. The first Isaac concept from 2024 was to cost USD 59,000; the stationary Isaac 0 has been on sale since February 2026.
History and generations
Isaac (2024) — a home robot concept announced at USD 59,000 → Isaac 0 (11 February 2026) — a stationary bimanual laundry folder for customers in California → Isaac 1 (July 2026) — the first mobile version on a telescoping wheeled base, USD 7,999 pre-order. The manufacturer does not use the "W1" label from overview graphics; the only "W1" we found belongs to a different company (Zeroth Robotics).
ROBOTio's view
We follow Isaac 1 as an example of an affordable specialised home robot and for accommodation clients. It is not suited to events; there we deploy the Unitree G1 and H2.

Frequently asked questions about Weave Isaac 1
- What is Weave W1?
- The manufacturer does not use the "W1" label from overview graphics; its mobile home robot is called Isaac 1 (preceded by the stationary Isaac 0). This page describes Isaac 1.
- Can Isaac 1 be bought in Europe?
- No. Pre-orders apply to California (deliveries from autumn 2026) and gradually the USA in 2027. ROBOTio does not have it in its fleet.
- How much does Isaac 1 cost?
- USD 7,999 to buy or USD 449 a month (optional USD 99 a month premium membership), with a refundable USD 250 deposit — according to the manufacturer's order page.
- Is Isaac 1 autonomous?
- By default yes; when the AI gets stuck a remote Weave specialist can intervene for 5–10 seconds through the robot's cameras. The cameras have physical shutters, so it is visible when they are active.
- Can Isaac 1 welcome guests or talk?
- Weave does not claim that; the robot is built for laundry and tidying. Robots that speak 13 languages and entertain guests are in our own fleet.
- What does the telescoping torso mean?
- The torso extends from 91 to 175 cm, so the robot reaches from the floor to shelves above 2 m without legs.
