Why companies choose ROBOTio for humanoid robot hire

We rely on what can be verified, not on superlatives. In 2026 we have 27 confirmed events with humanoid robots in six European countries (Czechia, Slovakia, Germany, France, Portugal and others) and more than 70 performances — one event often includes several appearances. We deploy up to four robots at a single event. We opened PX Party in Prague with a show of three humanoids and premiered the ROBOrevue show in Paris. Our own fleet includes the Unitree G1 (130 cm) and Unitree H2 (180 cm), and our operators always accompany the robot.

What we prepare together

The robot needs a clear role in the programme

Trade fairs and exhibition stands

Give visitors a reason to stop at your stand. The robot can welcome them, run a short demonstration or pose for photos. A follow-up conversation, a QR code or a booked meeting then ties the experience to the commercial goal.

Corporate events and gala evenings

Welcoming guests, a spot with the host, a shared activity or a surprise during the awards. The robot can appear in several parts of the day. We design the blocks around your run sheet so they support the programme and leave room for the guests.

Conferences and product launches

A technology topic gets a physical form. The robot can support the opening, a scripted dialogue, networking or a brand presentation. We align the script with your host and production in advance.

Robot shows and ROBOrevue

When the robot is meant to be the main event of the evening, we build a stage programme. Several robots, dancers and a joint choreography create something quite different from a single demonstration. Line-up, length and technical requirements are confirmed per show.

Filming, PR and brand content

Put a real robot into a commercial, an interview or a series of short videos. We plan the scene and the extent of its involvement with you. Production, editing, music licensing and publication are itemised separately in the quote.

Event and congress agencies

For agencies we provide the robots, operators and materials for your client proposal. We work as part of your production team and the client relationship stays with you. We confirm the option of provisionally holding a date while preparing the quote. Details are on our partner page.

Medical and pharmaceutical congresses

At healthcare symposia and congresses we frame the programme as welcoming participants and a technology presentation rather than entertainment, so that it fits industry codes including the MedTech Europe Code. The robot welcomes delegates at registration, supports the opening session and works the stands during breaks. No clinical claims, and no filming of delegates without consent. We have delivered symposia and congresses in Brussels, Vienna and Prague.

Trade fair stands and exhibitions

The most common brief: give visitors a reason to stop at your stand rather than walk past. Wrapped in your branding, the robot engages passers-by, runs short demonstrations and poses for photos, which gives your stand staff a natural reason to start a conversation. We travel to fairs in Czechia, Germany, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands. We need a firm level surface, 230 V and space for the technical base.

Product launches and brand campaigns

The robot reveals the product, carries it on stage or runs a scripted dialogue with the host. It suits anything where the theme is technology, innovation or the future, and where you need content people will film themselves. The script, the robot's persona and the things it must never say are agreed with your brand and PR team in advance.

Congresses, symposia and professional meetings

At a congress the robot welcomes delegates at registration, supports the opening session and works the exhibitor stands during breaks. We frame the programme as welcoming participants and a technology presentation rather than entertainment, so it fits industry codes — for healthcare congresses including the MedTech Europe Code. No clinical claims, and no filming of delegates without consent. We have delivered symposia and congresses in Brussels, Vienna and Prague.

Rental by robot model

We most often hire out the Unitree G1 — 130 cm, versatile on stage and among guests. The Unitree H2 (180 cm) from our fleet travels where a stage moment is needed. The four-legged Unitree Go2 works as an addition to the programme and for photos. Our operators stay with every robot at all times.

Education and long-term projects

For schools, workshops and company teams we design a demonstration that matches the audience. For long-term rental we first review the intended use, the model, the environment and the support — an event demonstration on its own does not prove a robot is suitable for continuous working operation.

How working with us goes

  1. Goal and date — We agree who the audience is, what the event needs to achieve and what part the robot plays in that.
  2. Proposal and quote — You get a proposed format, a scope of services and a price built for your event. We send the quote within 24 hours of your enquiry.
  3. Production prep — We align the venue, the run sheet, the script and the technical conditions with your production team.
  4. The event — The robot performs the agreed programme with our operators on site.
  5. Wrap-up — If collecting contacts or producing content was part of the brief, we hand over the agreed deliverables.

Real robots. Real events.

Leoš Mareš show — a stage appearance

R.U.D.A. walked on stage during a concert show in front of a full hall. This is the format where the robot is an item in the programme in its own right, not an add-on. The event was covered by the eXtra.cz newsroom.

KÄRCHER — the robot as part of a dance routine

Wrapped in KÄRCHER branding, the robot danced in the middle of a Prague industrial hall among the brand's machines and the guests. A format for companies that want technology tied into a live show.

ČS Leasing — several roles in one day

The robot took part in six sections of a corporate programme: welcoming guests, appearances during the day and the evening awards. One event showing how to tie several moments together under a single script.

OneCore — Business Breakfast in Bratislava

The robot joined a business briefing hosted at Microsoft Slovakia. An example of a programme where the demonstration is there to support the conference topic and the conversations between attendees.

Trade fair stand at PVA Expo Prague

The robot in a client's wrap on an exhibition stand. It gives fair visitors a reason to stop at your stand — and gives your staff a natural reason to start a conversation.

ROBOrevue — robots and dancers on one stage

A stage show that puts humanoid robots and professional dancers into a single choreography. A standalone product for when the robot is meant to be the main event of the evening. It premiered in Paris on 1 September 2026.

Three humanoids opening an event

Three humanoid robots in a joint opening — a world first for this format. It suits the start of a gala evening or a corporate conference. The exact line-up for your date is confirmed in the quote.

SONY — a robot at a product launch

At the SONY event in Prague's Port X, the robot supported the product presentation and mingled with guests. An example of a product launch and content production for the brand.

INFLUCON 2026 — a robot among content creators

The robot at a conference for influencers and creators — an environment where it becomes the subject of videos the visitors shoot and spread themselves.

Where we travel with the robot

We cover Czechia and Slovakia as a matter of routine from Prague, and the rest of Europe regularly. We have delivered events in Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Portugal and Slovakia, and the ROBOrevue show premiered in Paris. The cities we travel to most are Brussels, Vienna, Munich, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Milan and Paris. For events abroad we drive the robot ourselves with our own crew, so we do not depend on a local supplier or on air-freighting batteries. The destination, transport, crew accommodation and operating conditions are always itemised in the quote.

Dubai, the Emirates and the Middle East

We serve the Gulf from Prague and we are set up for it both linguistically and operationally. The robot speaks Arabic with a persona built to the client's brief, we can dress it in a thobe or shemagh instead of a corporate wrap, and we have air freight with dangerous-goods batteries, the ATA carnet and customs clearance solved. The Arabic version of the site is at robotio.ae. For trade fairs and congresses in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh, allow a longer lead time for shipping and visas — talk to us early.

What we

Questions customers ask

Does the rental include an operator?
For an event programme, yes — the robot is accompanied by our trained operators. How many and for how long is stated in the specific quote. Standalone hire for another purpose is handled case by case.
How many robots can we book?
We can field up to four humanoid robots at a single event. We propose the line-up based on the type of programme and availability on your date. More robots also means more space and more production prep.
Can the robot speak our language?
Yes. The robot works in thirteen languages and answers in the language a guest speaks to it. Put the language and the style of interaction in your enquiry; we will confirm in advance whether it will be a prepared script or live voice conversation, and what that needs on site.
Does the robot move among guests on its own?
The robot moves among guests on its own along a route we set with the production team in advance; an operator stays nearby the whole time and can step in at any moment. Remote-controlled movement and a prepared choreography are separate modes that we choose according to the script and the space.
Can the robot appear alongside a host?
Yes, a joint appearance can be designed. We align the script, the cues and the rehearsal with your host and production. The robot can also act as a panel participant or roam among guests asking a question.
Can we put our own branding on the robot?
Branding options depend on the model and the programme — from a wrap in your brand colours to clothing or a jersey. Design, production and fitting are confirmed before the event.
Can the robot work outdoors?
It depends on the model, the weather, the surface and the script. We assess outdoor deployment case by case. We need a firm level surface, covered space for the equipment and a plan B for rain.
How long can the robot keep going?
We build the schedule around the activity and the conditions; between appearances the robot needs breaks to swap batteries and be checked. A full day on site therefore does not mean continuous performance without pauses — we propose a specific run sheet for your programme.
Can guests take photos with the robot?
Yes, and it is usually the single most popular part. On site we need the space arranged sensibly and guests to follow the operators' instructions.
How much notice do you need?
It depends on the length of the programme, the branding, the script and the venue. The sooner we know the brief, the better we can prepare even a complex show. Availability is confirmed individually — allow more time for events abroad and for larger line-ups.
Do you deliver events outside Czechia?
Yes. We work across Europe — we have delivered events in Slovakia, Germany, France and Portugal — and we also serve the Middle East, including Dubai. The destination, transport and operating conditions are included in the quote.
Do you also provide photos and video?
Yes, the deliverables you need can be part of the brief. We agree the production, the formats, the delivery date and the usage rights in advance.
How much does it cost to rent a robot?
We price each event individually based on the date and location, how long the robot is present, how many robots there are and the scope of the programme. Fill in the enquiry form on this page and we will send an itemised quote within 24 hours.
Will the robot guarantee reach or a number of enquiries?
No, and we do not promise it. The outcome also depends on the audience, your offer and how you follow up the contacts. We are happy to help design the activation and the measurement, but we do not guarantee a number of views or orders.
Where can I hire a robot for an event?
ROBOTio hires out humanoid robots for events across Europe from Prague, and also serves the Middle East including Dubai. Robot hire includes the robot itself, transport to the venue and our own trained operators; we travel to Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Poland, Slovakia and further on request.
Do you rent robots for events other than corporate ones?
Yes. Robots for events cover trade fair stands, conferences and congresses, product launches, gala evenings, filming and PR shoots, retail activations and school programmes. Tell us what the event needs to achieve and we will recommend the format.
How do I rent a robot — what does the process look like?
Send us the date, the venue and what you want the robot to do. We reply with a recommended format and an itemised quote within 24 hours. There is no price list: every robot rental is priced for the specific event.
