DOBOT LUMO
The DOBOT LUMO L1 humanoid: 124 cm, 30 degrees of freedom, multimodal perception and communication. The manufacturer designs it for education and research, interactive exhibition guiding, cultural programmes and commercial performances.
What it would mean for your project
Showroom and presentations
A welcome, a short presentation and a photo spot in a space adapted to the robot. Moving among visitors and handling are added only after testing the specific function.
Corporate events
We do not deploy LUMO yet. The same role — welcoming, conversation and photos — is played today by a Unitree G1 or H2 from our fleet.
Schools and Academy
For teaching we offer ROBOTio Academy; we are assessing LUMO as a future platform for educational programmes.

Dancing, handshakes, interactive games and performances for audiences.
Commercial performances
Product launches, exhibitions, shopping mall events and promotional activities.
Availability at ROBOTio
We do not have LUMO in our fleet, in stock or for rent yet, and we are not an official DOBOT distributor. For your project we verify the order version, EU availability, service and conditions for public demonstrations with the manufacturer. Need a humanoid for an event right now? We deploy a Unitree G1 (130 cm) or H2 (180 cm) from our fleet.
- Event rental: not yet
- Sale / import: verified with the manufacturer for a specific project
- Alternative for events: Unitree G1 or H2 from our fleet
Manufacturer: DOBOT Robotics
DOBOT Robotics is a Chinese manufacturer based in Shenzhen, founded in 2015. It makes the Nova and CRA collaborative arms, desktop and educational robots and the LUMO and ATOM humanoids; its consumer line is developed under the INFFNI brand. In Europe it operates through DOBOT Europe GmbH in Neu-Isenburg.
DOBOT humanoids
DOBOT has two humanoid lines: LUMO L1 for interaction, teaching and presentations, and the industrial ATOM (per the manufacturer 1.65 m, 62 kg, 41 degrees of freedom, ±0.05 mm repeatability), including the wheeled ATOM-W. At APEC PPSTI in February 2026 ATOM demonstrated serving popcorn.
ROBOTio’s view
LUMO is the main model of DOBOT, a brand we watch. With the manufacturer we verify the order version, datasheet, batteries, conditions for public demonstrations, service and EU documentation, as well as the SDK, Czech language support and connection to our voice system.
- We distinguish pre-programmed movements, operator control and autonomous functions
- A robot for an event right now: Unitree G1 or H2 from our fleet

Frequently asked questions about DOBOT LUMO
- Can DOBOT LUMO be rented for an event in Czechia?
- Not yet — LUMO is not in our fleet. For events we deploy Unitree G1 and H2 humanoids, which welcome guests, talk to them and pose for photos. We verify LUMO for your project with the manufacturer.
- How tall is LUMO?
- According to the manufacturer it is 124 cm (1,240 × 560 × 244 mm) and weighs about 40.5 kg (Standard) or 41 kg (Max) with the battery.
- How long does it run?
- The manufacturer states about 2 hours under typical motion. The battery ships separately.
- What is the difference between Standard and Max?
- Max adds a stereo RGB-D camera, a 3D LiDAR and a more powerful NVIDIA Jetson Thor T4000 computer; Standard uses a Rockchip RK3588.
- Can LUMO make coffee or popcorn?
- That is not documented. Popcorn at APEC 2026 was served by the ATOM humanoid, and coffee or ice cream is made by Nova and CRA arms — we are preparing those concepts separately.
- Does LUMO speak Czech?
- We verify Czech language support, the SDK and connection to our voice system with the manufacturer for a specific configuration.
