DOBOT Robotics

Chinese maker of robotic arms, educational robots and the LUMO and ATOM humanoids — from the coffee bar to the production line.

About DOBOT Robotics

DOBOT Robotics is a Chinese manufacturer based in Shenzhen, founded in 2015. Its official portfolio covers collaborative and desktop robotic arms, educational systems, humanoids and tools for embodied AI. Its consumer line is developed under the INFFNI brand. In Europe it operates through DOBOT Europe GmbH in Neu-Isenburg, Germany.

For ROBOTio the brand connects to three areas. Events can use an interactive robotic presentation and a ready-made food experience — coffee, ice cream or popcorn made by a robot. Implementations get demonstrations of handling, machine tending, assembly and inspection. Academy can work with desktop arms, training cells and demonstration data collection.

The main focus is the LUMO humanoid, which DOBOT aims at education, research, interactive presentations and new commercial scenarios; at IFA Berlin 2026 it also appeared in the Robots on the Runway programme.

DOBOT is a watched brand for us: we do not have DOBOT robots in our fleet or in stock and we are not their official distributor. We verify the configuration, availability, service and EU documentation with the manufacturer for each project. Specifications on this page are manufacturer data.

Nova — retail, food service and light industry

Lightweight collaborative arms on which the maker builds coffee, ice cream and other retail applications. According to the maker Nova 2 weighs 11 kg and Nova 5 14 kg; the body is rated IP54, the small control module IP20. Nova 2s is a shortened version with its own datasheet. SDK for C++, C#, Python, ROS1 and ROS2.

CRA overview

Special versions: CRAF, CRA IP68, CRS and CR30H

Variants for force control, wet environments, safe collaboration with people and heavier handling.

SeriesPayload / radiusWhat is different
CRAF (CR5AF, CR10AF, CR20AF)5/10/20 kg; 900/1300/1700 mmSix-axis force sensor on the flange
CRA IP68 (CR5AP, CR10AP, CR20AP)5/10/20 kg; 900/1300/1700 mmBody IP68, cabinet IP54; not for long-term underwater operation
CRS (CR3AS, CR5AS, CR10AS)3/5/10 kg; 620/900/1300 mmSafeSkin protective system
CR30H, CR30HT, CR30H-Food30 kg; 1800 mmStandard, torque-sensing and hygiene-oriented version

CR30H-Food is an industrial arm for heavier handling, not a recommendation for a small coffee station.

Mobile robots and ecosystem

At IFA 2026 the maker showed the Rover X1 mobile platform, Pandabo and the Sinoceratops dinosaur version (consumer brand INFFNI). The arm ecosystem includes grippers, suction cups, force sensors, the VX500 camera, linear axes, AMR/AGV, the SafeSkin protective system and DobotStudio Pro software — compatibility with a specific version and suitability for food contact must be verified.
