Article summary
Who is behind the Tesla brand, which robots it develops and what you can realistically book for an event. We do not rent out Optimus, but we do offer the Cybertruck; alternatives are the G1 or H2.
Tesla is a global brand from the USA (Texas), and it develops its humanoid robot under the name Optimus. However, you cannot hire it for an event in Czechia or anywhere in Europe: according to Tesla, it is not yet on sale to third parties, and ROBOTio does not offer it for rental or for sale. What we can realistically provide is the [Tesla Cybertruck](https://robotio.eu/cybertruck) vehicle, and if you would like a humanoid at your event, we recommend the Unitree G1 or H2 from our own fleet, always with operators. ## Who Is Behind the Tesla Brand Tesla is an American company from Texas, best known to most people as a manufacturer of electric cars. For event organisers, what matters is that the brand operates in two worlds: vehicles that you can see in person in Europe, and robotics, which is still at the development stage. You can find the brand on our page [Tesla in the brand overview](https://robotio.eu/brands/tesla). We list two models under it, each in a different status: - **Tesla Optimus** – a humanoid robot that we list only as a monitored model. It is there for information, not for ordering. - **Tesla Cybertruck** – a vehicle that is part of our event offering. The difference is fundamental. You can have one of them on your stand or at a shoot; the other, not yet. ## Tesla Optimus: What We Know About It Optimus is a humanoid robot being developed by Tesla. Its specifications and availability are determined by the manufacturer and change over time. ROBOTio does not assess it, nor does it promise its arrival on the market. The model overview on our website gives the following details for Optimus: - Tesla FSD Chip processor, - 40+ actuators, - speed of approximately 2 m/s, - "all-day" endurance. Please treat these as indicative product information rather than a technical specification that can be relied on when planning a programme. For an event, the more important practical question is: **who will bring it, operate it and bear responsibility for its running?** For Optimus, nobody can answer that today, because it is not sold to third parties. You will find a more detailed profile on the page [Tesla Optimus vs. humanoid robots for hire](https://robotio.eu/tesla-optimus). ## Tesla Cybertruck: What You Can Realistically Have at an Event The Cybertruck is part of our event fleet. We will bring it to your event with operators and confirm the date in our proposal. According to the vehicle's page, it is particularly suitable for: - **filming and photo shoots** – adverts, music videos, fashion shoots, - **corporate events** – product presentations, team-building events, - **exhibitions and trade fairs** – it draws attention to your stand, - **experience drives** for clients and partners. Its listed features include a range of up to 800 km, a stainless steel body, a 17" touchscreen and the Tesla Autopilot system. It is a highly striking object, so it naturally suits [automotive events](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type) and venues where you want to make an impression from the entrance onwards. ## How to Get a Humanoid at Your Event Instead of Optimus If what mattered most to you was the "humanoid at the event" effect, you have two available options. Both come from our fleet and both travel with operators (two per robot throughout the event). The robot maintains its own movement and balance, while the operator controls direction and gestures. ### Unitree G1 (135 cm) A compact humanoid for smaller spaces, stands and presentations. If you are looking for a [robot for a trade fair](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type) or a product presentation with limited space, it is a practical choice. You can find details on the page [Unitree G1](https://robotio.eu/unitree-g1-basic). ### Unitree H2 (180 cm) A robot of human height for the stage, guest welcoming and larger events. At a single event we can deploy up to 4 humanoids, which is useful, for example, when combining an entrance zone with a stage programme. An example of how three robots work together is the [PX Party 2026](https://robotio.eu/case-study/px-party-2026-tri-humanoidni-roboti) project. The robot also speaks the language in which a guest addresses it (the website supports 13 languages). You approve the persona and lines in advance, so you know exactly what will be said on stage or at your stand. If you would like a complete performance, ask about ROBOrevue: a five-minute show featuring three humanoids and three live dancers. It requires a stage or dedicated area of at least 12 × 6 m. ## How to Combine the Cybertruck and a Robot in One Concept The combination of both elements is often stronger than either one on its own. Here are a few scenarios that make sense: 1. **Product launch:** the vehicle at the entrance, with a humanoid welcoming guests and answering questions, see [robot for product presentations](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type). 2. **Trade fair stand:** the vehicle attracts attention from a distance, while the robot keeps visitors at the stand and starts a conversation. 3. **Filming or photo shoot:** the vehicle as a backdrop, the robot as a character in the shot. Before you plan the combination, clarify the size of the space, the vehicle's access route and the location of power sources. We always agree availability individually and confirm it in our proposal. ## Where to Compare Other Models Optimus is just one of the humanoids that frequently appear online, and many others are also not available for hire. You will find an overview in [humanoid robot models](https://robotio.eu/models) and in the [model comparison](https://robotio.eu/comparison-of-models). The article [Humanoids 2026: which robot can be ordered for an event](https://robotio.eu/blog/humanoidi-2026-ktere-roboty-lze-objednat-na-akci) also discusses what can be ordered. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### Can Tesla Optimus be hired for an event?
