The GEORGE Brand: Who Is Behind It and How to Get a Robot for Your Event

Article summary

GEORGE is a Czech humanoid from Business Logic s.r.o. for industry and logistics. We do not yet hire it out for events, but we explain its current stage and what to deploy instead.

GEORGE is a Czech humanoid robot developed by Business Logic s.r.o. for industry, manufacturing and logistics. It cannot be booked for events today: it is a project we are monitoring, currently at the stage of prototypes and preparation for pilot deployments, and commercial availability has not yet been determined. If you would like a humanoid for a corporate event, trade fair or conference in Czechia or elsewhere in Europe, ROBOTio can offer [a Unitree G1 or H2 from our own fleet](https://robotio.eu/robot-rental), including two operators for each robot. ## Who Is Behind the GEORGE Brand The project is run by the Czech technology company Business Logic s.r.o. GEORGE is therefore not being developed in the USA or China, but in Central Europe. According to the information on the [GEORGE brand page](https://robotio.eu/brands/george), the project responds to demographic change, labour shortages and the drive for European technological autonomy in humanoid robotics. For businesses, this may matter above all because of: - data security and control over data, - servicing and local support, - transparency of development, - the possibility of working with a supplier in the same time zone. ## What Robots GEORGE Builds GEORGE is not a finished catalogue product. The team proceeds step by step, and each phase is intended to verify a specific capability: 1. **G0** – a 65 cm balancing humanoid, completed in 2025. 2. **175 cm upper body** – under development. 3. **130 cm walking prototype** – a planned version. 4. **G3** – an autonomous walking humanoid, 175 cm tall. Technically, the project is built on fully electric actuators, an AI control pipeline in NVIDIA Isaac Sim and real-time VR teleoperation. Cameras and depth sensing are also under development. The work also includes a bionic hand, a prototype of whose fingers the team demonstrates in the laboratory. The intended use is clearly industrial: production plants and repetitive tasks, logistics centres (handling, packing, palletising), material flow between workstations, and the operation of stations or assembly lines. You will find a detailed description on the [GEORGE model profile](https://robotio.eu/george) and in our [earlier article on the Czech humanoid for industry](https://robotio.eu/blog/george-cesky-humanoid-pro-evropsky-prumysl). ## Why You Will Not Yet See GEORGE on Stage We should be direct: we do not hire out GEORGE, and we cannot promise to provide it for your event. For projects we monitor, a simple rule applies: capabilities must be verified on a specific task and at the stage of development the robot has currently reached. A prototype in a laboratory and a robot that can perform for several hours in front of an audience are two different things. An event requires something different from a factory hall: - **predictability** – the robot must follow a script, not a development roadmap, - **stable movement among people** and a safety mode, - **a voice and persona** approved in advance, - **operators** who control direction and gestures. If you are interested in whether GEORGE could handle a specific operational process, you can describe the task, its frequency and the environment on the [GEORGE page](https://robotio.eu/george). Availability is assessed individually. ## What to Deploy at Your Event Instead For events, we have our own fleet and proven deployments: - **Unitree G1** (135 cm) – the robots R.U.D.A. and R.I.C.O. You will find details on the [G1 Basic model](https://robotio.eu/unitree-g1-basic) page. - **Unitree H2** (180 cm) – a taller humanoid for larger stages and presentations. - **Unitree Go2 robot dog** – a four-legged option for a dynamic entrance. We can deploy up to four humanoids at a single event. The robot speaks the language in which a guest addresses it (the website supports 13 languages), and the persona and lines are approved in advance. The robot maintains its own balance and movement, while an operator controls direction and gestures. An overview of all models, including those we only monitor, is available on the [robot models](https://robotio.eu/models) page. ### Where It Works in Practice - **Trade fairs and exhibitions** – a [robot for trade fairs](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type) draws visitors to your stand. The video from the Brilon × Aquatherm fair at PVA Expo Letňany has over 2 million views; see the [case study](https://robotio.eu/case-study/pva-letnany-otevreni-haly). - **Technology events and conferences** – a [robot for technology events](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type) suits audiences who know about robotics and want to see it live. - **International corporate meetings** – three humanoids opened a leadership meeting in Paris; see [TE Connectivity ALM Paris 2026](https://robotio.eu/case-study/te-connectivity-alm-paris-2026). ## How to Follow GEORGE Without Losing Time If you are planning an industrial pilot, we recommend following a process rather than choosing a model: 1. Describe the process – the task, its frequency and the environment. 2. Record the work task on video or in photographs. 3. Assess feasibility today and in the future. 4. Compare available robots from different manufacturers. 5. Plan the pilot, its evaluation and integration. If you need a robot for a specific event date, do not wait for a prototype. A G1 or H2 can be reserved within days to weeks, depending on the date, and a [comparison of providers in Europe](https://robotio.eu/humanoid-robot-rental-comparison) will help you weigh the alternatives. If you are considering your own robot for development or education, see [the sale of Unitree humanoid robots](https://robotio.eu/services/sales). ## Frequently Asked Questions ### Can I hire GEORGE for an event? No, ROBOTio does not hire out GEORGE. It is a Czech project we are monitoring, with prototypes and pilot preparation under way. For events, we offer the Unitree G1 and H2 with operators. ### When will GEORGE be commercially available? Commercial availability has not yet been determined. The individual phases (G0, the 130 cm prototype, G3) are intended to verify specific capabilities in turn. ### Is GEORGE suitable for events? It is focused on industry, manufacturing and logistics, not on presentation deployments. For events, the proven [Unitree](https://robotio.eu/brands/unitree) platform with its own operator is the right choice. ### How do I request a robot for an event? Fill in the enquiry form. Prices are not published on the website, and we send an offer within 24 hours. ## Would You Like a Humanoid at Your Event? Tell us the type of event, the date and the venue, and we will propose a suitable robot from our fleet. You can submit a non-binding enquiry via the [humanoid robot rental page](https://robotio.eu/robot-rental).
