Weave Isaac 1 (W1): home robot on wheels, specifications and availability

Article summary
Isaac 1 from Weave Robotics folds laundry and cleans bedrooms, but won't help at corporate events. We summarise specifications, availability and an alternative from the ROBOTio fleet.
Weave Isaac 1, referred to as "W1" in product images, is a wheeled home robot from US-based Weave Robotics. It is designed for laundry folding and morning bedroom cleaning, not for greeting guests. Moreover, no one is yet buying it in Europe. ROBOTio neither rents nor sells it. For a corporate event, we recommend Unitree G1 or H2 from our fleet. ## What is Weave Isaac 1 and why 'W1' Isaac 1 is the mobile version of a home robot introduced by Weave Robotics in July 2026. The manufacturer does not use the designation "W1" in its materials. The "W1" label we encountered belongs to a different company. So if you are looking for "Weave W1", it is Isaac 1. The company is based in San Francisco, was founded in summer 2024 and completed the Y Combinator accelerator. The team has approximately 26 people and disclosed funding is minimal; the company has not announced its actual amount. You can find more about the manufacturer on the [Weave Robotics brand page](https://robotio.eu/brands/weave-robotics). Development proceeded in three stages: - **Isaac (2024):** concept of a home robot that was to be extremely expensive. - **Isaac 0 (February 2026):** stationary dual-arm laundry folder for California customers. - **Isaac 1 (July 2026):** mobile version on a telescoping wheeled base. ## Specifications according to the manufacturer All data comes from the manufacturer. We have not conducted independent verification. - **Height:** 91–175 cm, trunk extends telescopically. - **Footprint:** 52 × 56 cm. - **Reach:** 203 cm vertically and 97 cm horizontally. - **Degrees of freedom:** 21 (neck 2, each arm 6, each gripper 1, trunk 2, base 3). - **Hands:** dual-finger parallel grippers. - **Battery:** 8 hours of operation, 2 hours charging. - **Sensors:** cameras in head with physical privacy shutters, wrist cameras, Wi-Fi. The telescoping trunk means the robot can reach from floor to shelves at heights over two metres. It does not need legs for this. It is a practical solution for a home, not a stage. ## What Isaac 1 can do The robot operates with two pre-built task flows that can be scheduled in the app: - **Laundry Flow:** identifies dirty laundry. A person washes it, then the robot folds and stores it. - **Daily Reset:** makes beds and tidies toys, shoes, blankets and pillows. - **Remote Op:** when AI is uncertain, a remote Weave specialist intervenes for 5–10 seconds via the robot's cameras. Privacy is handled through physical camera shutters and a shutter on the charging dock. So you can see when the robot is working and when it is not. Interchangeable fabric covers serve as passive safety. Operator interventions feed back into weekly model updates, so the robot improves through operation. Its predecessor, Isaac 0, has over 2,000 operating hours and folds over 450 kg of laundry weekly, according to the manufacturer. Smaller businesses in California use it too. Isaac 1 adds mobility through space. ## Status and availability: not yet in Europe Pre-orders began in July 2026 and apply to California. Deliveries are to start in autumn 2026 and gradually expand across the US in 2027. Europe is not in the plan. Regarding price: current purchase terms, monthly model options and deposits can be found on the manufacturer's order page. We do not quote amounts as they may change and are not relevant to European customers. For us, the situation is clear: - **Rental for events:** no. - **Sale and import:** no. We are monitoring when it becomes available in Europe. For Unitree humanoid sales, see [robot sales](https://robotio.eu/services/sales). Similarly positioned wheeled home robots can be found in our model overview, such as [Sunday Memo](https://robotio.eu/sunday-memo) or [1X NEO](https://robotio.eu/1x-neo). For both, a similar conclusion applies: they are designed for households and are not yet available in Europe. ## What this means for corporate events At an event you need something different from a home. The robot must interact with people, speak, gesticulate and hold attention. Isaac 1, by contrast, is designed for repetitive work without an audience. Weave does not list guest greeting or conversation capabilities, and neither can be inferred. That is why we deploy our own fleet at events: - **Unitree G1** (135 cm): compact humanoid suited to booths, reception or networking. Details are on the [Unitree G1 Basic](https://robotio.eu/unitree-g1-basic) page. - **Unitree H2** (180 cm): tall humanoid visible even in a crowd. - **Robopes Unitree Go2:** quadruped complement for more dynamic scenarios. The robot speaks the language the guest addresses it in. Persona and responses are approved in advance. The robot maintains balance and movement independently; a human operator controls direction and gestures. Each robot has two operators at all times. We deploy up to four humanoids at a single event. An example of what to expect at an event is the [execution at the Letňany exhibition](https://robotio.eu/case-study/pva-letnany-otevreni-haly), where video of our robot received over 2 million views. Similar scenarios are described in our [robot for corporate events](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type) and [robot for trade shows](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type) pages. ## When it makes sense to track Isaac 1 For hospitality operations, housekeeping is of interest: made beds and tidied rooms without supervision. When a European offering becomes real, we will advise on selection. Until then, it is an information profile for us, which you can find on the [Weave Isaac 1](https://robotio.eu/weave-isaac-1) page. A broader market overview is in our [robot models](https://robotio.eu/models) section. ## Frequently asked questions ### What is Weave W1? The manufacturer does not use the "W1" designation.
