A humanoid robot at a corporate event welcomes guests, introduces programmes, presents awards and attracts attention for photos. A practical guide to scenarios, preparation and risks based on our implementations.
A humanoid robot at a corporate event works best when given a clear role: welcoming guests, introducing parts of the programme, presenting awards or being the evening's highlight. The robot's mere presence will capture attention for a few minutes, but a well-thought-out scenario and two operators beside it will make the robot part of the event. This guide summarises how to use it, what to prepare and where mistakes are commonly made. ## Which corporate events are robots suitable for? Deploy a robot wherever you want to break the ice and create a moment people will talk about. Based on our experience, robots work particularly well at: - Christmas parties and corporate celebrations, see [robots at corporate events](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type), - team building and motivational events where the robot announces competition results, - employee recognition events where the robot presents awards or reads citations, - company anniversaries and milestones, - kick-off meetings and welcoming new colleagues, - customer days and [conferences](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type). Photos and videos with the robot usually become the most shared content from the event, which helps both internal communications and employer branding. ## Six scenarios that have proven successful ### 1. Greeting guests at the entrance The robot greets arrivals, answers simple questions and speaks in the language the guest addresses it in (the platform supports 13 languages). At Podzimek construction company's 130th anniversary celebration in Třešti, the R.U.D.A. robot greeted guests at the gate with a sign reading "130". Find details in the [Podzimek case study](https://robotio.eu/case-study/podzimek-130-let-trest-2026). ### 2. Introducing speakers and programme segments The robot can open a speech or introduce company leadership. At Podzimek, it introduced the owners' family on stage, with the programme built on more than 70 custom-recorded lines. At T-Mobile T-Data & AI conferences, three humanoids introduced programme segments on stage, and in Prague they also participated in a panel discussion on AI ([T-Mobile T-Data & AI](https://robotio.eu/case-study/tmobile-t-data-ai-2026-bratislava-praha)). ### 3. An all-day "event colleague" The robot does not have to make just one appearance. At Česká spořitelna Leasing, it performed several roles during a single day; see [Česká spořitelna Leasing](https://robotio.eu/case-study/ceska-sporitelna-leasing-robot-ruda-firemni-akce). At BEplan in Brno, robots spent the afternoon among guests, accompanied a lecture on artificial intelligence and performed a show in the evening ([BEplan Brno 2026](https://robotio.eu/case-study/beplan-brno-2026-ceska-premiera-roborevue)). ### 4. Presenting awards and ceremonies The robot can accompany award recipients to the stage, present the award or read a prepared citation. It's a short and memorable moment that doesn't require much time in the schedule. ### 5. Dance or stage show For the event's centrepiece, there's ROBOrevue: a 5-minute show featuring three humanoid robots and three live dancers. It requires a stage or dedicated space of at least 12 × 6 metres. Our implementation of a robot dancing with people at a corporate event is shown in [Kärcher at Vnitroblok](https://robotio.eu/case-study/karcher-tanecni-vystoupeni-vnitroblok-praha). ### 6. Product moment The robot can reveal a new product or accompany a presentation. An example is the [Sony product event at Port X](https://robotio.eu/case-study/sony-robot-ruda-produktovy-event-portx). ## How it works technically The robot maintains its own movement and balance. An operator controls its direction and gestures; two operators are present for each robot throughout the event. The persona and lines are approved beforehand, so nothing is said unexpectedly. We can deploy up to 4 humanoids at a single event. You can choose from our own fleet of [Unitree](https://robotio.eu/brands/unitree) robots: - **Unitree G1** (135 cm) – compact, suitable for greeting guests, photos and tighter spaces; see [Unitree G1 EDU](https://robotio.eu/unitree-g1-edu), - **Unitree H2** (180 cm) – adult human height, highly visible in large halls, - **robopes Unitree Go2** – a four-legged companion that particularly appeals to families and children. ## What to prepare The basics are straightforward: - **Space:** for ROBOrevue shows, at least 12 × 6 metres, with a level and stable surface. For other formats, we determine this together. - **Power outlet** near the robot's working area. - **Access** for operators and transport cases. - **Scenario:** when the robot appears, what it says, who it interacts with. Provide the company's tone, speaker names and any internal jokes. - **Language:** specify which languages the robot should speak. - **On-site testing:** installation and testing are part of the offer; allow time for this before guests arrive. We handle transportation, scenario preparation and operation. You'll receive the full scope of services in the quotation; further details are at [robot rental for events](https://robotio.eu/robot-rental). ## What to watch out for - **The robot is not an hour-long host.** It works best in short, prepared appearances. Long monologues or improvised audience interactions don't suit it. - **Battery and breaks.** For all-day deployments, we plan breaks for battery changes or recharging. - **Noise and crowds.** The operator maintains a safe space around the robot; expect guests to want to get very close. - **Too many roles.** Three well-prepared scenes are better than ten improvised ones. - **Late briefing.** The sooner you send us the date, location and programme, the more time we have to refine the lines and persona. ## Frequently asked questions ### Can the robot present awards or introduce speakers? Yes. You approve the lines and names beforehand, and the operator triggers them at the right moment during the event. ### Does the robot speak Czech and other languages? The robot speaks in the language the guest addresses it in. The platform supports 13 languages. The persona and lines are approved beforehand. ### How much space does the robot need? For ROBOrevue shows, at least 12 × 6 metres. For greeting guests or photos, we determine the space together based on the venue. ### What is the price and how quickly will I get an answer? We don't publish prices; they're always available on request. You'll receive a quotation within 24 hours of submitting the enquiry form. ## Want a robot at your event?
