Article summary

A five-minute show featuring three humanoid robots and dancers needs a stage or area of at least 12 × 6 m. How do you fit it into your corporate event programme, and what should you prepare?

ROBOrevue is a five-minute dance show featuring three humanoid robots and live dancers. It requires a stage or dedicated area of at least 12 × 6 m, and it works best as the highlight moment of the evening: at the opening, before an awards ceremony, or as the climax of a gala dinner. Below you will find what the show involves, what the organiser needs to have ready, and where to place it in the programme. ## What ROBOrevue Actually Is This is not a robot that waves from the stage and walks off. [ROBOrevue](https://robotio.eu/case-study/roborevue-svetova-premiera-pariz-2026) is a choreography in which robots dance together with people. The routine is built so that the robot has a purpose in every beat, and each of its movements is programmed to the rhythm of the music. Before the premiere, the robots and dancers rehearsed together in Prague for weeks. The world premiere took place on 1 September 2026 in Paris, and the Czech premiere followed two days later in Brno. The show runs without a spoken word, so it works equally well for a French and a Czech audience. The language of your event is therefore irrelevant. What this means for you: - the show lasts five minutes, so it is short and intense, - it suits a gala dinner, a corporate party, a [product launch](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type) or a festival, - several appearances can be staged over the course of an evening, - before and after the show, the robots move among your guests, pose for photos with them and chat with them in their own language. ## How Much Space the Show Needs The requirement is clear: **a stage or dedicated area of at least 12 × 6 m**. The show cannot be performed in a smaller space. This is not a cosmetic matter; it is a question of the safety of both the dancers and the robots. A practical checklist: - a 12 × 6 m area with a level, stable surface, - an electrical socket nearby, - access for ROBOTio operators and for the transport cases, - clear space that will not be used as a thoroughfare by guests or staff during the show. Please bear in mind that 12 × 6 m is the area of the show itself. The audience comes in addition. When choosing a venue, therefore, allow for a safe distance for the audience and a clear view from the far half of the room. During the on-site rehearsal, we will coordinate lighting, sound and space with your production team. If you have any doubts about the dimensions, send us a floor plan or photos of the hall and we will tell you whether the show will fit. ## Where to Place the Show in the Programme The five-minute format is flexible, but some slots work better than others. ### Opening of the Event If you want to capture attention right from the start, open the programme with the show. This is what was done at the [T-Mobile T-Data & AI](https://robotio.eu/case-study/tmobile-t-data-ai-2026-bratislava-praha) conferences in Bratislava and Prague (5–6 October 2026): the programme opened with the ROBOrevue show, after which three humanoids in T-Mobile jerseys welcomed guests and introduced sessions on stage. This suits conferences and corporate gatherings where you need to bring the audience together at a single moment. ### Highlight of the Evening At a corporate evening or gala dinner, the show is the natural centrepiece. At [BEplan in Brno](https://robotio.eu/case-study/beplan-brno-2026-ceska-premiera-roborevue), the robots were among the guests from the afternoon, accompanied a talk on artificial intelligence, and in the evening performed the Czech premiere of ROBOrevue with a dance troupe. Guests thus got to know the robot before seeing it dance, which gave the evening show greater impact. We describe this evening in more detail in a [separate article about the Brno premiere](https://robotio.eu/blog/roborevue-brno-ceska-premiera-firemni-vecer). ### Before an Awards Ceremony or Product Launch A five-minute show sets the right mood in the room just before an important moment. At a [launch party](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type) or a product unveiling, it creates energy that the host can build on. ### What to Avoid - Do not place the show in a block where the room is at its noisiest or where the view is poorest, as nobody will notice it. - Do not leave it until the end of a long evening, when the room starts to empty. - Do not rely on a single appearance if you want the robot to make a stronger impression at your event. Plan several short appearances and time for the robots to move among guests. ## Robots Among Your Guests: What Complements the Show A five-minute show is a powerful moment, but it is not the whole programme. You can also make use of the robot before and after it. The humanoid can welcome guests at the entrance, walk on with the host, or pose for photos. The robot speaks in the language in which a guest addresses it, and its persona and lines are approved in advance. The robot maintains its own movement and balance, while the operator controls direction and gestures. Two operators are with each robot throughout. At a single event, we deploy up to four humanoids from our own Unitree fleet. These are the [Unitree G1](https://robotio.eu/unitree-g1-basic) (135 cm) and Unitree H2 (180 cm) models. You can find out more about the manufacturer on the [Unitree brand page](https://robotio.eu/brands/unitree). For a full picture of how we deploy robots at [corporate events](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type), please also see our [robot rental](https://robotio.eu/robot-rental) service. ## Logistics: What to Know in Advance - **Transport:** the robots travel by road. Their batteries are classed as dangerous goods and cannot be flown. The journey from Prague to Paris takes a day, so please allow for travel days when planning events abroad. - **Rehearsal:** a rehearsal on the event stage is part of the delivery. We therefore need access to the venue before the event begins. - **Date:** we confirm availability within 24 hours of your enquiry. In 2026 we have more than 70 performances in six countries, so we recommend not leaving the date to the last minute. You will find further preparation points in our [checklist before ordering a robot](https://robotio.eu/blog/kontrolni-seznam-objednavka-humanoidniho-robota-akce). ## Frequently Asked Questions ### Can the show be performed in a space smaller than 12 × 6 m? No. The minimum is 12 × 6 m, as this is a matter of safety for both the dancers and the robots. If your venue does not have enough space, we will propose another format, such as robots moving among guests. ### How long does the show last, and can it be repeated? The show itself lasts five minutes. For a longer programme, we arrange several appearances during the evening, along with robots mingling among guests. ### Do guests need to understand Czech? No. The show works without words. Language comes into play in interactions with guests, where the robot speaks in the language in which the guest addresses it. ### How much does the show cost? We do not publish prices on our website. Send us the date, venue and an outline of your programme, and you will receive a quotation within 24 hours. ## Would You Like ROBOrevue at Your Event?
