INFLUCON 2026 review: R.U.D.A. moved freely, guests filmed. What worked and lessons for event organisers.

A humanoid robot at an influencer festival works because content creators immediately recognise something interesting and film it themselves. At INFLUCON 2026 in Prague, this held true for the R.U.D.A. robot: it needed no stage or script—appearing among guests was enough for the phones to come out. Below, we outline what the robot did at the event, what worked, and what organisers of similar events can take away. ## Where and with what we came to INFLUCON INFLUCON is a festival where influencers, marketers and content creators meet. In May 2026, it took place in Prague and artificial intelligence was one of the themes across talks. We deployed the R.U.D.A. robot from our own fleet at the event. Its role was intentionally simple: to move among participants and be visible. You will find more details about the implementation in the [INFLUCON 2026 case study](https://robotio.eu/case-study/influcon-2026-prvni-humanoid-mezi-influencery). ## What the robot did at the event R.U.D.A. had no scheduled programme or host and did not perform on stage. It moved among participants, mainly during networking breaks: - moved freely among guests, - created brief interactions and photo moments, - appeared in locations we had pre-identified with the organiser as most visible (for example, registration, networking zone, or photo wall). The robot maintains its own balance and gait; an operator controls direction and gestures. Two operators are present throughout the event for each robot, so free movement among people remains under control. You can find more about how we monitor the space around the robot in our article on [humanoid safety among guests](https://robotio.eu/blog/bezpecnost-humanoidniho-robota-mezi-hosty-operatori). ## What worked ### The response was immediate The audience needed no explanation. As soon as the robot entered the space, people pulled out their phones, cameras started rolling, and quick reels emerged. Influencers are content professionals and recognise what's worth filming. A humanoid is visually more striking than a banner, booth, or sample, making it content people want to share themselves. ### Content came from guests Content that did not feel like advertising earned the most attention. When creators film the robot out of genuine interest, it reads as spontaneous endorsement, not a paid activation. This is why the format suits [influencer events](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type). ### Robot as an icebreaker Influencers, marketers and brand representatives stopped to engage. The robot gave people a reason to approach one another, which matters more for [event networking](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type) than the technology itself. ### The AI topic took tangible form At an event where artificial intelligence was discussed in talks, the robot provided a tangible illustration of the topic. For a brand partnering at such an event, this is a natural connection with technology. ## What we are not reading from the event It is best to stick to the facts. This was free movement without a script, not a stage performance, so it cannot be compared with a show on the main stage. We are not citing specific reach figures here. If you need hard data for your event, set up measurements beforehand (see below) rather than extrapolating them afterwards. ## What to take away as an organiser 1. **Give the robot space among people.** It does not always need a stage. At a festival with breaks and networking, free movement can work well. 2. **Pre-identify locations and times.** We work together to define where and when the robot will be most visible. Places with good foot traffic work best. 3. **Plan for guest-generated content.** If your goal is social media reach, set up measurements beforehand: tags and mentions, number of posts on Instagram and TikTok, reach across channels. 4. **Add a clear call-to-action.** The robot can carry branded wrapping and a QR code with a challenge for creators: scan, film, and you might be selected for promotion. 5. **Prepare a persona and talking points.** The robot speaks the language in which the guest addresses it. The persona and talking points are approved beforehand, so brand messaging for influencers can be refined in advance. INFLUCON was freestyle without a script. For other events, a combination of free movement and a short programme may make sense, such as at [festivals](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type) or [marketing events](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type). ## Which robot suits such an event For free movement among guests, the compact [Unitree G1](https://robotio.eu/unitree-g1-basic) is practical: 135 cm tall, it fits into tight spaces and people easily approach it for photos. If you need greater visibility in the hall, the Unitree H2 (180 cm) is an option. Both models are based on robots from [Unitree](https://robotio.eu/brands/unitree) and are always hired with operators included. The full range of services can be found on the [humanoid robot rental](https://robotio.eu/robot-rental) page. We do not list prices on our website. We always prepare them on request and send a quote within 24 hours. ## Frequently asked questions ### Does a robot at an influencer festival need a stage? No. At INFLUCON 2026, R.U.D.A. moved among participants and managed without a dedicated programme. A stage or floor space is only needed for the ROBOrevue show (minimum 12 × 6 m). ### Can branded messaging be prepared for the robot? Yes. The robot can carry branded wrapping, deliver prepared talking points for your campaign, and ask questions related to your topic. We agree the persona and talking points with you in advance. ### Can we deploy the robot outside Czechia? Yes, we operate across Czechia, Slovakia, Europe and the Gulf region (Dubai). We arrange transport and operators. Practical tips can be found in our article on [events abroad](https://robotio.eu/blog/robot-na-akci-v-zahranici-doprava-ubytovani-harmonogram). ### How to measure the robot's impact? Track tags and mentions in shared posts, the number of publications and reach across channels. If you use a QR code on the robot, you also get scan data for follow-up contact. ## Want a robot at your festival? Send us the date, location and event objective, and we will suggest how to involve the robot. You can submit a non-binding enquiry on the [event robot rental](https://robotio.eu/robot-rental) page and receive a quote within 24 hours.
