Humanoids 2026: Which Robots Can You Book for an Event?

Today, you can book a humanoid for an event from the fleet of a company that owns it and travels with its own operators, for example the Unitree G1 or H2. Most of the famous names from the headlines, namely Tesla Optimus, Atlas, Figure 03, 1X NEO and Digit, are still in the factory, in pilot operation or on pre-order for a different market. You cannot get them for a corporate event. Below, you will find where each model stands and what that means for your planning. ## Why "exists" does not mean "can be booked" Videos of humanoids attract millions of views. For an event organiser, however, different questions matter: - Does the robot's manufacturer sell or rent it to anyone outside its own pilots at all? - Is the robot available in Europe? - Is there someone who knows it and can operate it at the event? - Can the robot handle a guest programme, meaning welcoming, conversation, photo opportunities or a show, and not just work on the factory floor? Most of the robots in this overview are designed for warehouses, production lines or homes. That is a different task from standing for hours among visitors at a trade fair or on a stage. ## Laboratory and in-house pilots: no offer for events yet ### Figure 03 [Figure 03](https://robotio.eu/figure-03) is 173 cm tall, weighs 61 kg and carries 20 kg. The manufacturer keeps it in in-house development, at BMW and in pilot households. There is no price list, no pre-orders and no waiting list. For events, it therefore does not exist. Technologically, however, it is a benchmark for the industry, as the Helix 2.5 model of 17 September 2026 shows. You can find the manufacturer's overview on the [Figure AI](https://robotio.eu/brands/figure) brand page. ### Boston Dynamics Atlas The fully electric [Atlas](https://robotio.eu/boston-dynamics-atlas) (190 cm, 90 kg, 50 kg payload) is aimed at industry. The first production units are going to Hyundai and to Google DeepMind research. There is no room here for event rentals. ### Tesla Optimus With [Tesla Optimus](https://robotio.eu/tesla-optimus), we are so far mainly following the manufacturer's ambitions. For an event organiser, a more useful comparison is with robots that can actually be rented, and you will find that on the model's page. ### Apptronik Apollo 2 Apollo 2 (173 cm, 73 kg) is running in pilots at Mercedes-Benz in Berlin and Kecskemét. The manufacturer offers it only in partner pilots and plans to start sales with Apollo 3. ## Factory and warehouse: sold to companies, not to events ### UBTECH Walker S2 [Walker S2](https://robotio.eu/ubtech-walker-s2) is a serious industrial candidate. Series production has been running since November 2025, and 1,079 units were built in 2025. Its customers include BYD, FAW-Volkswagen, Foxconn and Airbus. The robot can swap its battery autonomously within 3 minutes. But it is a tool for production, not a performer for the evening programme. ### AgiBot G2 [AgiBot G2](https://robotio.eu/agibot-g2) stands on a wheeled base and has force-controlled arms. By June 2026, AgiBot had delivered 15,000 robots and sells them to companies. The robot is ready for events, but nobody offers rental with operators for it. ### Agility Digit 5 [Digit 5](https://robotio.eu/agility-digit) (181 cm, 129 kg) handles totes at GXO, Schaeffler and Amazon. It was announced on 15 September 2026, and early access in the EU is expected in the first half of 2027. You will not encounter it at an event this year. ## The home: a different market, a different continent [1X NEO](https://robotio.eu/1x-neo) (168 cm, 30 kg) is designed for households. Pre-orders have been open in the USA since October 2025, and Europe is not due to follow until 2027. Sunday Memo and Weave Isaac 1 are similarly aimed at homes, with beta programmes and pre-orders in the USA only just getting under way. Other names in this overview: - **Fourier GR-3**: a humanoid for elderly care and rehabilitation, delivered to companies and institutions since October 2025, - **XPENG IRON**: 178 cm, 76 degrees of freedom, so far one to watch rather than to book, - **Sanctuary Phoenix**: hydraulic hands, never sold, and the company now mainly sells software, - **Fauna Sprout**: a small developer humanoid for laboratories and schools. ## What you can book for an event today The practical answer is a dedicated fleet: ROBOTio rents out the Unitree G1 (135 cm, the robots R.U.D.A. and R.I.C.O.), the Unitree H2 (180 cm) and the Unitree Go2 four-legged robot dog. We do not rent models from other manufacturers; we only provide information about them. If you ask about Optimus or Figure, we will offer you the G1 or H2. What this means in practice: - Each robot has two operators with it throughout. The robot itself maintains movement and balance, while the operator controls direction and gestures. - The robot speaks the language in which the guest addresses it (13 website languages). The persona and lines are approved in advance. - We deploy up to 4 humanoids at a single event. - We travel across Czechia, Slovakia, Europe and to the Gulf (Dubai). For an exhibition stand, a [robot for trade fairs](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type) works well. ## How to recognise an offer that can genuinely be booked Before you send your brief to anyone, go through this checklist: 1. **Does the supplier physically have the robot?** Ask to see photos or video from their most recent event, not the manufacturer's materials. 2. **Who operates the robot?** An experienced operator makes the difference between a programme and a static exhibit. 3. **How many robots can they handle at once?** One robot is a demonstration; several robots make a programme. 4. **What is the plan B?** Ask about the schedule and what happens in the event of a fault. 5. **What is included in the offer?** Transport, operators, script, branding, photo and video. As a guideline for targeting: the more specifically you describe what the robot should achieve at the event (stop people at your stand, open a conference, highlight an awards ceremony), the faster we can select a suitable model. ## Frequently asked questions ### Can Tesla Optimus or Figure 03 be rented for an event? No. The manufacturer neither sells nor rents out Figure 03. For Optimus, we know of no offer for events, and ROBOTio does not rent it out. The alternative is the G1 or H2 from our fleet. ### When will home and logistics humanoids appear in Europe? According to the manufacturers' figures: 1X NEO in Europe from 2027 and early access to Digit 5 in the EU in the first half of 2027. They are not aimed at corporate events, however. ### Why do you not rent out Walker S2 or AgiBot G2? These are industrial robots that manufacturers sell to companies. For event programmes, we use our own fleet, which we know well and with which we have completed dozens of performances. ### How much does a rental cost? We do not publish prices on our website.
