GEORGE: Czech humanoid for industry and what it means for events

Article summary
GEORGE is a Czech humanoid robot for industry and logistics in prototype phase. Its capabilities, current status, and alternative solutions for corporate events.
GEORGE is a humanoid robot developed in Czechia for industry, manufacturing, and logistics. It is currently a monitored project in the prototype and pilot deployment preparation phase, with no confirmed commercial availability. Therefore, ROBOTio does not offer it for rent at events. If you need a humanoid that works right now, select from our fleet: [Unitree G1](https://robotio.eu/unitree-g1-basic) or Unitree H2, always with two operators. ## What is GEORGE and who is behind it GEORGE is a Czech—or rather, a European—humanoid project. It is developed by Business Logic s.r.o. with the ambition to become a workforce for industrial operations, manufacturing, and warehouses. The project responds to demographic changes, workforce shortages, and the need for European technological autonomy in humanoid robotics. For some companies, the origin itself is significant. GEORGE is not being developed in the USA or China, but in Central Europe—which can be important for data security, servicing, transparency, and local support. You will find broader context on the [GEORGE brand page](https://robotio.eu/brands/george) and in our earlier article [GEORGE: a Czech humanoid for European industry](https://robotio.eu/blog/george-cesky-humanoid-pro-evropsky-prumysl). ## What GEORGE can do and plans, based on available information Development progresses in stages, with each phase validating a specific capability: - **G0:** Completed 65 cm balancing humanoid from 2025. - **Upper body 175 cm:** in development. - **Walking prototype 130 cm:** planned version. - **G3:** autonomous walking humanoid at 175 cm height, planned version. The project cites the following technologies: - AI control pipeline and simulation in NVIDIA Isaac Sim, - real-time VR teleoperation, - fully electric actuators, - cameras and depth sensing, currently in development. Target scenarios include repetitive manufacturing tasks, manipulation, packing and palletising in logistics centres, material flow between workstations, and operation of stations or assembly lines. The team is preparing pilot projects and deployment studies in real-world operations. ## GEORGE's current status and availability Based on the available information, this is a prototype and pilot preparation phase. Serial availability has not yet been confirmed, and capabilities must always be assessed for the specific task and in relation to the current development phase. We present it as a monitored Czech project, not as a robot available for immediate rental. Additionally, on the GEORGE page, we verify availability on an individual basis. If you have an industrial process that GEORGE could potentially solve in the future, describe it via an inquiry. We will assess whether it makes sense to wait or to use a robot that is available today. ## What this means for corporate events Nothing directly. GEORGE is built for factory floors and warehouses, not for stages, exhibition stands, or conferences. Moreover, the prototype phase means there is no validated operator configuration that we could plan and rehearse in advance. However, events have different requirements than industry: - **Predictability:** the robot must perform according to an agreed scenario at a set time. - **Guest interaction:** our robot speaks the language in which guests address it, and the persona and dialogue are approved in advance. - **Safety among people:** the robot maintains its own movement and balance; the operator directs movement and gestures. Each robot is attended by two operators at all times. - **Repeated deployability:** at events, you need a proven machine, not a development prototype. If you are interested in the technological story, GEORGE could work well to complement [technology events](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type) content—for example, as a panel topic on European robotics. However, it cannot be deployed on stage or at an exhibition stand. ## What to use instead of GEORGE at events In our fleet we have Unitree G1 humanoids (135 cm, robots R.U.D.A. and R.I.C.O.) and Unitree H2 (180 cm). These are complemented by the quadruped robot dog Go2. We can deploy up to four humanoids at a single event. The case study [PX Party 2026 with three humanoids on one stage](https://robotio.eu/case-study/px-party-2026-tri-humanoidni-roboti) shows what it looks like to work with multiple robots simultaneously. Typical use: - [trade shows](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type), where robots draw attention to exhibition stands, - conferences and corporate events, - product presentations and launch events. Whether G1 or H2 is suitable depends on the space, scenario, and desired robot height. You can find an overview in [models](https://robotio.eu/models) and in [model comparison](https://robotio.eu/comparison-of-models). ## How to proceed practically 1. **Clarify the purpose.** Do you want a robot for an event, or to assess deployment in operations? We handle the former. The latter is a question for the GEORGE project. 2. **Describe the event.** Date, location, space size, and objective. Based on this, we will recommend G1 or H2. 3. **Have the persona approved.** You will agree on dialogue and communication style in advance. 4. **Keep tracking GEORGE.** If you are interested in industry applications, use the form on the [GEORGE](https://robotio.eu/george) page. ## Frequently asked questions ### Is GEORGE available for rental at events?
