Article summary
Figure 03 is a 173 cm tall humanoid powered by Helix 2.5. What it can do, why you cannot buy or rent it, and how to reliably replace it at a corporate event.
Figure 03 is the third generation of humanoid from American firm Figure AI: 173 cm tall, 61 kg, 20 kg payload capacity and five hours of operation. It is controlled by the Helix model, currently version Helix 2.5. However, you will not acquire it at a corporate event because Figure does not sell or rent robots. The price has not been disclosed and ROBOTio does not offer this model. However, we can provide the same experience for guests with [Unitree G1 and H2 from our fleet](https://robotio.eu/robot-rental). ## What is Figure 03 [Figure 03](https://robotio.eu/figure-03) was unveiled by [Figure AI](https://robotio.eu/brands/figure) on 9 October 2025. Compared to its predecessor Figure 02, it is 9 per cent lighter, has a soft textile shell and parts designed for mass production (cast, injection moulded and stamped). The actuators are twice as fast as those in Figure 02. The company was founded in 2022 and is among the best-financed humanoid startups. It owns its own factory, BotQ, designed for 12,000 robots per year. According to manufacturer data, over 350 units have been produced by April 2026, at a rate of one robot per hour. Videos of Figure have millions of views, which is why event organisers also ask about this model. ## Specifications according to manufacturer - **Height and weight:** 173 cm, 61 kg - **Payload capacity:** 20 kg - **Walking speed:** 1.2 m/s - **Battery:** 2.3 kWh structural battery in torso, 5 hours runtime - **Charging:** wireless, 2 kW via feet, no cables or docks - **Sensors:** cameras with double frame rate and 60 per cent wider field of view than Figure 02, camera in each palm, tactile finger tips sensitive to approximately 3 grams - **Voice:** twice larger speaker and relocated microphones - **Price:** not disclosed, robot not for sale ## What is Helix and what did version 2.5 bring Helix is Figure's proprietary vision-language-action model. It combines image and language understanding with motion control. It has three layers: a slower "thinking" system, a fast system for the hands and the fastest layer for the entire body. Development has progressed gradually: - **Helix 01** (20 February 2025) controlled the upper body. - **Helix 02** (27 January 2026) added full-body control. An example is a four-minute autonomous task with a washing machine. - **Helix 2.5** (17 September 2026) is a foundational model pre-trained on human videos from the Index platform. In 30 previously unseen households, it achieved 56 per cent success rate at making beds, folding towels and tidying without on-site training. A model trained from scratch achieved 9 per cent. The figures are from the manufacturer and show that the robot learns from videos. At the same time, they show that almost half of the attempts in an unknown environment still failed. For a scenario that must work on stage on the first try, this is important. ## What state it is in and where it is being deployed Manufactured units go into internal development, to automotive manufacturer BMW and into pilot households: - **BMW Spartanburg:** Figure 02 worked there for 11 months in 2025. From June 2026, Figure 03 replaced it in bay 52, sorting parts and pulling trolleys. - **Pilot households:** data collection and Helix 2.5 testing in 30 households in the San Francisco area. - **Next generation:** Figure 04 has a locked design as of 13 May 2026 according to available information, but has not yet been unveiled. Figure has no price list, pre-orders or waiting list. The founder mentioned possible home rental in the USA in May 2026, but nothing like that has been launched. In Europe, therefore, no availability exists. ## What this means for corporate events Figure 03 is primarily a technology benchmark for the industry. The decision for an event is different from a factory or household. Guests need a robot that: - is physically available on the right day, - can greet, respond and be photographed, - has a pre-approved persona and responses, - is safe among people thanks to its operator. Figure 03 cannot offer this today because no one will rent it. Anyone who wants it at a [corporate event](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type) or [technology event](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type) must choose a model that exists and is operational. A general overview can also be found in the article [which humanoids can be ordered at an event](https://robotio.eu/blog/humanoidi-2026-ktere-roboty-lze-objednat-na-akci). ## Alternative from the ROBOTio fleet We have our robots physically in Prague and transport them throughout Czechia, Slovakia, Europe and to the Gulf. Each robot is always accompanied by two operators. - **Unitree G1** (135 cm, robots R.U.D.A. and R.I.C.O.) is suitable for greetings, conversations and photography. Details can be found in [G1 Basic](https://robotio.eu/unitree-g1-basic). - **Unitree H2** (180 cm) is closer in height to Figure 03. It makes more of an impression on stage and at a stand. - **Four-legged robot dog Go2** complements the programme, see [Unitree Go2](https://robotio.eu/unitree-go2). The robot speaks the language in which the guest addresses it (13 web languages). Persona and responses are approved in advance. The robot maintains its own movement and balance; the operator controls direction and gestures. We can deploy up to 4 humanoids at a single event. Here's what it looks like in practice: - At [PX Party 2026](https://robotio.eu/case-study/px-party-2026-tri-humanoidni-roboti), three humanoids stood on one stage. - The video from the Brilon × Aquatherm trade show at PVA Expo Letňany has over 2 million views, see [case study](https://robotio.eu/case-study/pva-letnany-otevreni-haly). Use at a stand is described on the page [robot at trade shows](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type). - In 2026 we have over 70 appearances in six countries. If you are comparing multiple models at once, [humanoid robot comparison](https://robotio.eu/comparison-of-models) and [model overview](https://robotio.eu/models) will help. ## Frequently asked questions ### Can Figure 03 be purchased or rented?
