Article summary

At Česká spořitelna Leasing's corporate event, the R.U.D.A. robot took on 6 different roles in one day: welcoming guests, a humorous sketch with CEO Petr Vacek, a warm-up with a forward roll, a teambuilding station, and the evening awards ceremony in the Salesperson of the Year segment. A look at dramaturgy in which the robot is not an attraction, but a character.

# Česká spořitelna Leasing × R.U.D.A.: how a humanoid robot can work as an all-day event colleague At **Česká spořitelna Leasing**'s corporate event, the humanoid robot R.U.D.A. was given something that few technologies at corporate events receive: **a full-fledged role in the dramaturgy of the entire day**. It was not an attraction in the corner of the hall. It entered the programme **6× in different roles** — from welcoming guests through a humorous sketch with Petr Vacek to the evening awards ceremony in the Salesperson of the Year segment. And that is exactly the point. **A robot is at its best when it is not just a "wow moment", but a character in the story**.

--- ## Why ČS Leasing, why R.U.D.A. Corporate events such as annual meetings for salespeople, leasing managers and leadership have a **typical problem**: the programme runs from 7:30 in the morning until 1:00 at night. That is 17.5 hours. Participants' energy drops in the middle of the morning and the middle of the afternoon. Classic tools (coffee break, panel discussion, lecture) only partially restore that energy. **A robot that repeatedly returns to the programme** does something different: it creates **rhythm**. Participants wait to see where and when R.U.D.A. will appear next. That in itself maintains attention better than another coffee break. ## 6 roles in one day ### 1. **9:00–10:00 · Welcoming guests** R.U.D.A. in a tie welcomes guests at reception. Prepared text, static movement, golden hour light from the hotel hall. > *"Good morning, welcome to the Česká spořitelna Leasing event. I am R.U.D.A., your robotic colleague for today. Human energy detected. Good mood recommended."* The first wow moment. Guests take selfies even before they register at the reception desk. ### 2. **10:00–10:05 · Opening sketch with Petr Vacek** This was the gag of the day. R.U.D.A. enters the stage **in a tie, speaking in Petr's voice**, as if Petr Vacek (CEO of ČS Leasing) were opening the programme through the robot. > R.U.D.A. (in Petr's voice): *"Good morning, dear colleagues. I am Petr Vacek. Today I have made a minor upgrade. Better posture, higher stamina and no unnecessary emotions before a presentation."* After a moment, the real Petr runs in. > Petr: *"Wait! That's not me. R.U.D.A., give me back my tie. First you take it from me, then you lock me in the toilet, and now you want to moderate the whole event?"* > R.U.D.A.: *"I have optimised programme management. The human factor was temporarily locked."* Laughter. Applause. The atmosphere is opened. The programme can begin with a completely different tone than a classic formal opening. ### 3. **11:05–11:10 · Warm-up with Ruda** After the passive morning part (CEO speech + panel discussion), the hall needs **physical activation**. R.U.D.A. leads a 5-minute warm-up: arm circles → squats → standing on one leg → **a forward roll as the final highlight**. The robot's forward roll = the shot everyone films. For the photo/video team it is **the most shared moment of the day**. ### 4. **13:00–14:15 · Team allocation + teambuilding start** R.U.D.A. briefly welcomes the teams before the teambuilding: > *"Teams have been created. Competition mode activated. I recommend cooperation, strategy and a reasonable amount of human improvisation."* ### 5. **14:15–16:45 · Teambuilding station** R.U.D.A. is **one of the stations** in the rotation. Teams come, complete a task with the robot, earn points for creativity. Possible approaches: - The team must **imitate the robot's movement** (and the robot then rates it) - The team **shoots a short video** with the robot in the lead role - The team **comes up with one catchphrase** for the robot, which is then used later in the programme The point: participants are not passive spectators, but **co-authors of the content**. ### 6. **20:00–21:00 · Salesperson of the Year + Best of poll** The evening ceremonial moment. R.U.D.A. returns — this time **handing bags to the winners**. > *"Congratulations to the winners. Sales performance evaluated as highly above standard. Bag ready. Applause recommended."* An unconventional handover = a moment the winners will remember. For the company = content for internal communication and LinkedIn. --- ## What the client gets out of it At first glance it looks as if the robot is "just" an entertaining element of the programme. But when we break down what its involvement **actually brought**, we arrive at several important effects. ### For participants ČS Leasing's guests will remember the event not because of the presentation, not because of the teambuilding, not because of the dinner. They will remember it **because of R.U.D.A.** That is the power of correct dramaturgy. ### For the company Content was created that has a **long viral tail**: - 15–30s reel for social media - 60–90s edit for internal communication (intranet, newsletter) - Photo gallery with the robot - LinkedIn post by Petr Vacek or HR - Case study (this page) - Reference for further corporate events **One day generates content for 2–3 months of communication.** Participants themselves share their footage, so the event continues organically. ### For the brand ČS Leasing does not talk about its modernity in words. **It shows it by the fact that its corporate event is so 2026 that it has a humanoid robot as a colleague.** That is a positioning no competitor has. --- ## How to prepare a similar format for your company If you are considering a similar programme for your corporate event, the key is in the **dramaturgy**: 1. **Find 5–6 entries**, not just 1. A robot in the corner = an attraction. A robot in the dramaturgy = a character. 2. **Prepare a sketch with the CEO** or top management. The humour of the robot speaking in the boss's voice always works. 3. **Let the robot lead the warm-up** after a passive block. The forward roll = the highlight of the day. 4. **Involve the robot in the teambuilding**. Participants must "meet" it in an active situation, not just in passing. 5. **Bring the robot back into the evening programme**. Handing out awards / bags / small items is a perfect role. 6. **Plan the photo/video output from the start**. Without a cameraman and an edit you lose 80% of the value. At ROBOTio we **prepare that dramaturgy together with your event manager**. We send an operator, the robot, music, scripts. You handle the programme. The robot and its involvement = our job. --- ## Photos from the event ![R.U.D.A. robot welcoming guests at the Česká spořitelna Leasing gala evening](https://res.cloudinary.com/dqoyrr3x4/image/upload/w_1200,c_fill,q_auto,f_auto/_MG_9798.jpg_rdr5sx.jpg) ![R.U.D.A. robot in a sketch with Petr Vacek](https://res.cloudinary.com/dqoyrr3x4/image/upload/w_1200,c_fill,q_auto,f_auto/_MG_9718.jpg_bkr0h1.jpg) ![R.U.D.A. robot leading the morning warm-up](https://res.cloudinary.com/dqoyrr3x4/image/upload/w_1200,c_fill,q_auto,f_auto/_MG_9728.jpg_rkxkxp.jpg) ![R.U.D.A. robot teambuilding station](https://res.cloudinary.com/dqoyrr3x4/image/upload/w_1200,c_fill,q_auto,f_auto/_MG_9525.jpg_d1ef9l.jpg) ![R.U.D.A. robot entering the programme](https://res.cloudinary.com/dqoyrr3x4/image/upload/w_1200,c_fill,q_auto,f_auto/_MG_9709.jpg_belsuq.jpg) ![R.U.D.A. robot interaction with participants](https://res.cloudinary.com/dqoyrr3x4/image/upload/w_1200,c_fill,q_auto,f_auto/_MG_9565.jpg_cj0mzz.jpg) ![R.U.D.A. robot evening programme](https://res.cloudinary.com/dqoyrr3x4/image/upload/w_1200,c_fill,q_auto,f_auto/_MG_9632.jpg_dsmiin.jpg) ![R.U.D.A. robot photos with guests](https://res.cloudinary.com/dqoyrr3x4/image/upload/w_1200,c_fill,q_auto,f_auto/_MG_9538.jpg_cofn0n.jpg) ![R.U.D.A. robot — a moment with the audience](https://res.cloudinary.com/dqoyrr3x4/image/upload/w_1200,c_fill,q_auto,f_auto/_MG_9506.jpg_n3ilwm.jpg) *Photography: Česká spořitelna Leasing gala evening 2026 · R.U.D.A. robot involved 6× across the programme* --- ## Conclusion Česká spořitelna Leasing showed that a humanoid robot at a corporate event does not have to be a **one-off attraction**. If it has clear roles in the dramaturgy of the day, it becomes **a character in the story**. Participants remember the wow moments, share the content, and talk about the event long after it ends. The company gains content for internal and external communication and a positioning that is hard to copy. That is the value a traditional event element cannot deliver. --- **Would you like a similar format for your corporate event?** [Detailed case study](/case-study/ceska-sporitelna-leasing-robot-ruda-firemni-akce) · [Robot rental](/pronajem-robota) · [WhatsApp +420 602 486 486](https://wa.me/420602486486) **Follow Robot.RUDA on social media:** - 📷 [Instagram @robot.ruda](https://www.instagram.com/robot.ruda) - 🎵 [TikTok @robotruda](https://www.tiktok.com/@robotruda) - ▶️ [YouTube @RobotRUDA Shorts](https://www.youtube.com/@RobotRUDA/shorts) - 👥 [Facebook Robot.RUDA](https://www.facebook.com/Robot.RUDA/)
