Article summary
The AgiBot G2 is a wheeled industrial humanoid with an adjustable height of 122–180 cm. We summarise its specifications, pricing and availability, and what it means for corporate events.
The AgiBot G2 is an industrial interactive humanoid on a four-wheeled chassis, made by the Shanghai-based company AgiBot. It has an adjustable height of 122–180 cm, weighs 185 kg and operates for roughly four hours on two swappable batteries. The manufacturer does not publish a price, and ROBOTio neither rents nor sells this model. For corporate events, we deploy our own Unitree G1 and H2. Below you will find what the G2 can do, where it currently stands and what this means for your event. ## What is the AgiBot G2 The G2 was developed by AgiBot (Zhiyuan Robotics), which was founded in February 2023 by former Huawei engineers. The model was unveiled on 16 October 2025 as the successor to the G1 platform from the Genie series. It belongs to the industrial wheeled line: instead of walking on two legs, it has a human-like torso, a head and two seven-axis arms mounted on a lifting chassis. The manufacturer describes it as an industrial interactive humanoid. "Interactive" means that it is also built for conversation with people. It offers voice interaction with multiple speakers, tracks gaze and has an animated face. This makes it suitable for reception, guided tours or showroom presentations. The context is also worth noting. According to Omdia, AgiBot shipped 5,168 humanoids in 2025, which amounts to a 39% share of the global market. By June 2026 it had produced 15,000 units, and the 15,000th was in fact a G2. You can find more about the brand on the [AgiBot](https://robotio.eu/brands/agibot) page. ## Technical specifications (manufacturer's data) - **Height and weight:** 1,225–1,795 mm (adjustable), 185 kg. - **Degrees of freedom:** 25 without hands (arms 7 × 2, waist 3, lifting legs 2, head 3). OmniHand Pro hands with 19 degrees of freedom are optional. - **Payload:** 5 kg per arm, 10 kg with both arms, 15 kg at peak. The reach of both arms is 2.3 m. - **Chassis:** four steerable wheels, speed of 1.5 m/s. - **Batteries:** two hot-swappable batteries, 1,652 Wh, approximately 4 hours of runtime. - **Sensors:** 2× LiDAR, a binocular camera, 3 fisheye cameras, RGB-D in the head and at the wrists, 4 microphones, 8 ultrasonic sensors and torque sensors in all arm joints. - **Computing power:** 500 TOPS and 64 GB as standard. The higher-spec version with the NVIDIA Jetson Thor T5000 offers up to 2,070 TFLOPS and 128 GB. - **AI:** the GO-1 foundation model, the GE-1 world model and the LinkCraft platform. - **Ingress protection and temperature:** IP42, operating range 0–45 °C. ## What the G2 can do Its main strength is its force-controlled arms. The manufacturer cites a "cross-type" wrist with force control, which it claims has no equivalent, and sub-millimetre assembly accuracy. The force control resolution is ≤ 0.02 N·m. The following examples from the manufacturer are worth mentioning: - the robot learned a new task, inserting a RAM module, in under an hour, - roughly 100 hours of live-streamed quality inspection of tablets on the Longcheer production line, - assembly of seat belt buckles and material handling in the automotive and electronics sectors, - four hours of operation without downtime thanks to battery swapping during operation. Safety is addressed all around the robot. LiDAR and ultrasonic sensors monitor the surroundings, the robot detects collisions and it has both hardware and software emergency stops. According to the press release, it passed more than 130 component tests, including temperatures from −15 to 50 °C, ESD and emergency braking. ## Price and availability The manufacturer does not publish a price; it is available on request. Figures that appear on aggregator sites do not come from AgiBot, so please do not rely on them. AgiBot sells to businesses: directly in China and through resellers elsewhere. For Europe, both pricing and certification are verified on a case-by-case basis. The manufacturer has not disclosed whether the G2 holds a specific EU certification. The robot is supplied with a declaration of conformity. For any project in the EU, it is therefore necessary to vet the distributor, servicing and regulatory compliance in advance. Availability at ROBOTio is clear: - **Event rental:** no. - **Sales and import:** no. We are monitoring availability in Europe. - **Alternative for events:** Unitree G1 or H2 from our fleet. ## What this means for corporate events The G2 is built for the production line, not the stage. It is heavy, travels on wheels at 1.5 m/s and its strength lies in precise manipulation. At an event, the point is usually not precision assembly but visitor attention, dialogue and visual impact. Our humanoids fulfil this role. The robot speaks the language in which the guest addresses it, and the persona and lines are approved in advance. The robot maintains its own balance and movement, while the operator controls direction and gestures. Each robot is accompanied by two operators throughout the event. For different situations, we recommend: - **Stand or smaller space:** [Unitree G1](https://robotio.eu/unitree-g1-basic) at your stand. More in the [robot for trade fairs](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type) section. - **Halls and large areas:** the H2, standing 180 cm tall and visible from a distance. - **Shop or exhibition:** a [robot for your showroom](https://robotio.eu/robot-hire-by-event-type), where a reception role similar to the one the manufacturer describes for the G2 works well. - **Shows:** the G1 and H2 are walking humanoids that are also suited to dance performances. A real-world example is the [video from the Brilon × Aquatherm trade fair](https://robotio.eu/case-study/pva-letnany-otevreni-haly) with more than two million views. It featured a single humanoid at a single trade fair. For an overview of our offering, see the [robot rental](https://robotio.eu/robot-rental) page. It makes sense to compare it with the [UBTECH Walker S2](https://robotio.eu/ubtech-walker-s2), [Agility Digit 5](https://robotio.eu/agility-digit) and [Apptronik Apollo 2](https://robotio.eu/apptronik-apollo). We can help with selection and with verifying the supplier. The second option is demonstrations for management. Before a company invests in an industrial humanoid, we can give a live demonstration of what humanoids are capable of today, using robots from the [Unitree](https://robotio.eu/brands/unitree) fleet. ## Frequently asked questions ### Can the AgiBot G2 be rented for an event in Czechia? No. The G2 is not in our fleet and we do not offer it for rental. For events, we deploy the Unitree G1 and H2. ### How much does the AgiBot G2 cost? AgiBot does not publish a price. It sells to businesses directly or through regional resellers, so you will need to enquire with them. ### Is the G2 a humanoid if it has wheels? It has a human-like torso, a head and two seven-axis arms on a wheeled chassis with a lifting mechanism. The manufacturer describes it as an industrial interactive humanoid. ### How long can the G2 operate? Two hot-swappable batteries with a capacity of 1,652 Wh provide roughly four hours.
