The robot with a “Podzimek 130” sign greeted arrivals at the gatehouse — during the afternoon programme for employees, and a week later for guests. Guides in period costumes then led them on.
On stage the robot opened the official part alongside Josef, Martin and Antonín Podzimek and host Petr Píša — and per the script allowed itself to be “switched off”, saying that better people would handle the speeches.
At the first celebration it presented awards to employees and posed with them; the company’s voice assistant spoke with a voice approved by the management itself.
In the evening the robot moved to the historic horse gin that was cutting ice for drinks and tried to turn it — one of the prepared skits from the “three voices, two worlds” concept.
Two celebrations of the construction company’s 130th anniversary: an afternoon for employees (welcoming, awards, photographs) and an evening for guests with an orchestra, the Gaudium choir, an LED tunnel and an animation of departure to the Moon.
The client supplied the script and schedule; we prepared over 70 recorded lines in three voices, a name-by-name welcome and skits including the robot’s “switch-off” before the speeches.
Guest arrival 15:45, welcoming, award ceremony, photos and interviews until 20:00.
From 18:00 welcoming at the gate, at 20:00 opening speeches on stage, then the skit at the horse gin; the programme ended at 23:00.

Can the robot speak with a specific person’s voice?
Only with that person’s consent. At Podzimek, the management approved the voice profile the robot used for the welcome and skits.
Can the robot handle an outdoor site and an evening programme?
Yes, on a firm, dry surface — in Třešť this was asphalt with a 230 V connection. The robots worked from guest arrival until the end of the programme.
