First humanoid-human choreography in the Czech Republic · Live applause
When the robot entered among the dancers mid-routine, the courtyard went silent for a second — and then came the applause we didn't expect. We rarely see this at a corporate event. KÄRCHER wanted a moment guests would take home on their phones. Robot R.U.D.A. created that moment.

How the event lived online: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube
One performance, four social platforms, millions of potential views. Client KÄRCHER CZ gained earned media content that lives on after the event.
The robot dances with people, not next to them. The audience has never seen this live before — and the reaction matches.
Phones up, people filming. You gain hundreds of organic videos and photos with zero production costs.
The same moment works on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube Shorts. One event, four channels.
Applause mid-routine is the strongest brand association an event can create. People link the brand to an emotional peak.
We fine-tune the choreography with a professional dance studio (Taneční sektor). The robot isn't an exhibit, it's a dancer.
Robot operator off-camera, a second team member guards the perimeter. No incident, no stop, no worries for the client.
Together with the client we define the moment they want the event to be remembered for. For Kärcher it was the synergy of innovation + humanity.
Together with Taneční sektor we prepare a routine where the robot makes sense in every beat — not as a prop, but as a partner.
2× rehearsal before the show, robot calibration, perimeter check, musical cue points. Operator hidden from the audience's view.
The robot enters the routine halfway through the track. The audience starts clapping before the end. Selfie queue after the performance.
Video, photo and edits go to the client and to ROBOTIO channels. Earned media multiplies the original event.
Can the choreography be completed without the robot if it dropped out at the last minute?
Yes. We fine-tune the choreography with Taneční sektor so that the robot has a dramaturgical role but isn't essential to the routine. The dancers are trained to continue without it and the client doesn't need to know — the fallback is transparent. Across 50+ productions we haven't needed this fallback once.
What's the best event size for this format?
The sweet spot is 80–400 guests. Below 80 people the robot loses the \"crowd wow effect\", above 400 you need more robots or a larger space. The Prague courtyard with ~250 guests was exactly in the ideal range — everyone saw, everyone reacted, the applause was audible.
Can we get a licence for the video from our event for our own marketing?
Yes. The client receives fully rights-cleared content from the performance (raw footage + edit) as part of the package. Use for your own social media, website, PR and advertising campaigns without restrictions. ROBOTio reserves the right to use the material in anonymised form as a case study (client logo + results, always with prior consent).
Can the robot be added to an existing dance choreography or does it have to be written from scratch?
Ideally the choreography is fine-tuned in collaboration with the dance studio from the start — the robot has different timing and range of motion than a human dancer. For the Kärcher event we worked with Taneční sektor two weeks before the event, and a completely new tailor-made routine was created.
What if the robot fails mid-performance?
The operator has a finger on the E-stop (L2+B = damping), the robot lowers in a controlled way. The dancers are trained to continue without it. Backup battery, controller and operator are on site. Across 50+ events we've had 0 stops mid-routine.
How much space do you need for a dance routine with the robot?
At least 4×4 m of free space for the robot + people in the routine, plus a 2 m safety perimeter around the edge. The Prague courtyard (where the Kärcher event took place) had ~8×8 m, which is ideal.
Can the choreography be synchronised to the client's specific music?
Yes, the robot responds to manual cue points from the operator, who listens to the same stream as the dancers. Beat synchronisation is possible with a tolerance of ~0.3 s.
