The host introduced both robots by name in front of a packed hall. The robots opened the main programme of the festival and set the tone for the whole day.

Throughout the day, R.U.D.A. and R.I.C.O. met visitors, posed for photos with them and answered questions in the language the guests spoke to them.

TV Nova broadcast live from the festival and the robot stood right next to the reporter — a reference that keeps working after the event.

In the festival's technology zone, visitors viewed the robots up close and tried a conversation with them.

Two humanoids to open the main programme, 5–10 minute appearances and the robots' presence among guests throughout the day.

The robots received personas with the festival programme and the names of speakers, lines in six languages and an opening script coordinated with the host.

Did the robots talk to visitors on their own?

Yes. The robots answered in the language of the person asking and knew the festival programme; our operators were with each robot at all times.

How many people accompany a robot at such an event?

Each robot has two operators — one controls movement and safety, the other communication and the programme.
